Two Ryan Restum goals powered the Hope College ice hockey team to a 4-1 win against Colorado State on Thursday at Edge Ice Arena.
The Flying Dutchmen skated to their third consecutive win and improved to 14-2-3 overall.
Restum's first goal snapped a 1-1 tie with 6 minutes, 44 seconds remaining in the second period.
The junior from East Lansing, Michigan (Okemos HS), netted his second goal to psuh Hope's lead to 3-1 just 28 seconds into the third period.
Senior Drew O'Brien of East Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS), and freshman Evan Fall of Royal Oak, Michigan (Royal Oak HS), also scored for the Flying Dutchmen.
Goalie Eric Lipon of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS), made 20 saves for Hope.
The Flying Dutchmen return to action on Friday, Jan. 16, when they face Grand Valley State at 7 p.m. at Georgetown Ice Arena.
