Hope College's Nicole Meyer has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week for play through October 10.

The sophomore from Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS), is honored for the first time after earning medalist honors at the league's 36-hole jamboree last weekend.

Meyer fired a 2-over-par 74 at Bedford Valley Country Club on Saturday to finish with a two-day total of 154. 

Meyer helped the Flying Dutch repeat as MIAA champion and win their eighth league championship in team history.

Meyer also claimed All-MIAA First Team honors for the first time. She averaged 80.50 for the league's fourth-best average.
