Hope College's Erin Herrmann is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets through October 4.
The junior from Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS), recorded the top time among NCAA Division III women's runners in a Greater Louisville Classic Gold Division field on Saturday that featured Division I and Division II national powerhouses on Saturday.
Herrmann finished her 6K run for the eighth-ranked Flying Dutch in 115th place out of 260 runners with a time of 18 minutes, 14.83 seconds.
Hope returns to action on Friday, Oct. 9 at the Lansing Community College.
