Freshman Grant Brogan of East Lansing, Michigan (East Lansing HS), netted three goals to lead the Hope College men's lacrosse team during a 16-8 loss at Ferrum, Virginia, on Monday.

The Flying Dutchmen (2-3 overall) concluded play on their spring break trip.

Sophomore Zach Weber of Ann Arbor, Michigan (Pioneer HS), chipped in two goals. 

The Flying Dutchmen also received goals from sophomore Gunnar Elder of East Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS), Ty Miedema of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian HS), and senior Peter Stuckey of Okemos, Michigan (Okemos HS).

Hope returns to action on Saturday when the Flying Dutchmen host Carthage, Wisconsin, for a 2 p.m. nonleague match at Van Andel Stadium.
