The Hope College women's track & field team finished seventh in three events at the Grand Valley State University Al Owens Classic this weekend.
Senior Katherine Hauge of Edina, Minnesota (Minnehaha Academy), clocked a seventh-place time in the 3,000-meter steeplechase of 12 minutes, 14.55 seconds.
Junior Marina Milad of Plymouth, Michigan (Canton HS), posted a seventh-place triple jump of 33 feet, 11 ½ inches.
Freshman Meredith Rinke of Plymouth, Michigan (Canton HS), recorded a javelin toss of 106 feet, 10 inches for seventh place.
Sophomore Emma Ropski of Park Ridge, Illinois (Maine Township HS), finished eighth in the 800 meters at 2:17.84.
The Flying Dutch totaled seven points for 18th place.
Hope returns to action next weekend by sending athletes to either the Hillsdale College Gina Relays or the Mousseau Classic at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids.
