Senior Montana Leep of Hastings, Michigan (Grand Rapids South Christian HS), carded a 5-over-par 77 at The Ravines Golf Club on Tuesday for medalist honors to lead the Hope College women's golf team to a first-place finish.
The Flying Dutch shot a team score of 320 to win a four-team tournament that included runner-up Wheaton, Illinois (344), North Central, Illinois (354) and Calvin (390). Leep is pictured at right.
Freshman Nicole Meyer of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS), finished second overall by shooting a 79.
Sophomore Britni Gielow of Norton Shores, Michigan (Mona Shores HS), took third with an 81.
Freshman Megan Klintworth of Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS), tied for fourth by carding an 83.
Junior Morgan Leep of Hastings, Michigan (South Christian HS), chipped in an eighth-place 84.
