The Hope College women's golf team moved up two spots to 10th place at the 21-team NCAA Division III Championships on Wednesday in Howie-in-the-Hills, Florida.
The Flying Dutch shot a team score of 338 at Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort for the second day in a row that put them at 100-over par.
Hope trails ninth-place Wisconson-Stout by five strokes heading into Thursday's third round. Washington-St. Louis leads at 62-over.
The first Hope golfer Thursday tees off at 8:35 a.m.
Freshman Megan Klintworth of Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS), carded an 8-over-par, 80 to lead the Flying Dutch during the second round.
Klintworth is tied for 34th individually after 36 holes with five golfers at 22-over, including freshman teammate Nicole Meyer of Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS). Meyer had a second-round 85.
Junior Morgan Leep of Hastings, Michigan (Grand Rapids South Christian HS), chipped in an 86 on Wednesday.
Sophomore Britni Gielow of Norton Shores, Michigan (Mona Shores HS), recorded an 87.
Senior Montana Leep of Hastings, Michigan (South Christian HS), had a 90.
