Alexandra Moxon clocked the top performance for the Hope College women's cross country team at the Muskegon Community College Invitational on Friday.
The junior from Naperville, Illinois (North HS) clocked a 29th-place, 5K time of 19 minutes, 51.40 seconds. She finished 29th out of 134 runners.
Hope totaled 188 points for seventh place out of 15 teams.
Sophomore Mackenzie Schmidt of Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake) took 46th in 20:19.79.
Freshman Hannah Kenny of Grand Haven, Michigan (Grand Haven) placed 50th at 20:33.56.
Freshman Rebecca Duran of Palatine, Illinois (Palatine) came in 52nd at 20:34.86.
Freshman Sophia VanderKooy of Indianapolis, Indiana (Brebeuf Jesuit) rounded out Hope's scoring with a 64th-place effort of 20:56.15.
Others in Hope's top seven were junior Marianne Lohrstorfer of Indianapolis, Indiana (North Central) in 65th at 20:56.98 and freshman Natalie Keenan of Ionia, Michigan (Corunna) in 66th at 20:57.38.
The 16th-ranked Flying Dutch return to action on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.
