Junior Evan Fall of Royal Oak, Michigan (Royal Oak) scored twice as the Hope College ice hockey team stayed unbeaten with a 4-2 win against Central Michigan University on Friday at Edge Ice Arena.

Freshman Noah Arent of Ada, Michigan (Forest Hills Central) and junior Garrett Gormley of Fenton, Michigan (Flint Powers Catholic) also netted goals for Hope.

On Saturday, the Flying Dutchmen suffered its first loss of the American Collegiate Hockey Association series with a 5-2 defeat to Central Michigan.

The Flying Dutchmen are now 5-1 on the season. Gormley had one of Hope's goals.
