Freshman goalie Austin Kane of Flint, Michigan (Powers Catholic) posted a shutout as the Hope College ice hockey defeated Central Florida 3-0 on Saturday at Edge Ice Arena.

Kane stopped all 32 shots he faced to help the Flying Dutchmen win their third game in three days and improve to 10-1 on the American Collegiate Hockey Association season.

The Flying Dutchmen scored all of their goals in the second period.

Hope returns to the ice on Friday, Nov. 4 at Oakland.
