The Hope College women's cross country team is ranked 16th in this week's United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association NCAA Division III poll.

Coach Mark Northuis and the Flying Dutch are coming off a first-place performance in the Silver Division of the Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday.

The meet was held at Sawyer State Park in Kentucky, site of this season's national championships.

Hope also remained second in the Great Lakes Regional rankings behind eighth-ranked Calvin.

The Flying Dutch return this weekend at two events: Friday at the Lansing Community College Invitational and Saturday at the Principia, Illinois Invitational.
