Junior Evan Fall of Royal Oak, Michigan (Royal Oak) scored the go-ahead goal with 10 minutes, 58 seconds remaining in the third period as the Hope College ice hockey team skated to a 4-3 win over Northwood on Friday.

It was the final game of the 2016 calendar year for the Flying Dutchmen, who head into Christmas break with a 14-6 record in American Collegiate Hockey Association play.

Hope returns to action on Thursday-Friday, Jan. 12-13 with a home-and-home series against Adrian Black.
