The doubles team of freshmen Michael Kiley of Muskegon, Michigan (Mona Shores HS) and Andrew Klein of Augusta, Michigan (Kalamazoo Christian HS) won three of three matches to lead the Hope College men's tennis team during the West Michigan Indoor Doubles Shootout on Friday at DeWitt Tennis Center.
In consolation play of the B Doubles Flight, Kiley and Klein defeated Calvin's Jared Doezema and Anthony Vroon 8-2 and Cornerstone's Santiago Mackrey and Andrew Son 8-4.
The four-flight tournament featured players from Aquinas, Calvin, Cornerstone, Davenport and Grand Valley State.
Hope returns to action on Saturday, Feb. 13 with a nonleague match against No. 26 Wisconsin-Whitewater in Kalamazoo.
