Hope College's Gunnar Elder has been selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for games through March 7.

The junior from East Grand Rapids, Michigan (East Grand Rapids HS) is receiving the award for the second time in his career and the first this season.

Elder totaled nine points during two road game last weekend, including a six-goal effort against Illinois Wesleyan Saturday.

Elder collected one assist and five groundballs against Illinois Wesleyan.

Elder had one goal, one assist and two ground balls on Friday at Elmhurst, Illinois.
