Rachael Webb recorded a ninth-place finish in the 800-meter run for the Hope College women's track & field team at the Grand Valley State University Al Owens Classic on Saturday.
The sophomore from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville HS) clocked a time of 2 minutes, 15.60 seconds.
The nonscoring meet featured teams from NCAA Division III, Division II and Division I, and NAIA.
Sophomore Rachel Satkiewicz of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Seaholm HS) placed 10th in the 400 meter dash. She had a time of 59.65 seconds.
Junior Erin Herrmann of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS) took 11th in the 1,500 meters at 4:43.06.
Hope's next scheduled event is the Hillsdale Gina Relays on Thursday-Saturday, April 28-30.
