The Hope College women's track & field team came in third at the Calvin Tune-Up on Saturday.
Junior Caitlyn Campbell of Rolling Meadows, Illinois (Palatine HS) topped the Flying Dutch with a first-place run in the 3,000-meter steeplechase of 13 minutes, 34.51 seconds. Hope totaled 66.5 points.
Sophomore Rachel Satkiewicz of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Seaholm HS) clocked the second-fastest time in the 200 meters at 26.38 seconds. She was third in the 400 at 59.23.
Senior Emma Ropski of Park Ridge, Illinois (Maine Township HS) placed third in the 800 at 2:21.20.
Junior Sierra Schultz of Kellogg, Iowa (Grinnell Community) finished third in the 400 hurdles at 1:06.71.
Sophomore Shannon Crawford of Bettendorf, Iowa (Pleasant Valley HS) took fourth in the javelin with a toss of 29.80 meters (97 feet, 9 inches).
Hope's next competition is the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Field Day on Thursday-Friday, May 5-6 at Olivet College.
