Hope College's Nicole Meyer has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Golf of the Week for events through September 25.

The junior from Brighton, Michigan (Brighton HS) is honored for the first time in her career after averaging 75.0 strokes over two 18-hole league jamborees last week.

Meyer fired an even-par 72 to claim medalist honors at the Wednesday, Sept. 21 jamboree at The Medalist Golf Club in Albion.

Meyer helped Hope win the first MIAA event of the fall season.

Meyer tied for sixth place at the MIAA Jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Knollwood Country Club in Granger, Indiana.

The Flying Dutch finished second at the tournament.
