Hope College's Erin Herrmann has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Cross Country of the Week for meets through September 25.
The senior from Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS) receives the award for the third time in her career and the second time this season.
She previously was honored this season on September 12.
Herrmann clocked the fastest time at the MIAA Jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Pine River Country Club in Alma.
Her run of 21 minutes, 21.4 seconds was four seconds ahead of the nearest competitor.
Herrmann has won three races in as many tries this season. She helped the Flying Dutch place second in the team standings.
