Junior Evan Fall of Royal Oak, Michigan (Royal Oak) scored twice to lead the Hope College ice hockey team to a 3-2 win against Grand Valley State University on Friday at Edge Ice Arena.

The Flying Dutchmen lost Saturday's series finale to GVSU at Georgetown Ice Arena in Georgetown Township 6-1 to put their record to 16-7-1 overall in American Collegiate Hockey Association play.

On Friday, Hope jumped out to a 3-0 lead after two periods.

Freshman goalie Austin Kane of Flint, Michigan (Powers Catholic) made 42 saves.

On Saturday, sophomore Evan Augustine of Maple Grove, Minnesota (Maple Grove) had Hope's goal.
