The Hope College men's basketball team tips off at Calvin at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25 in the 194th edition of The Rivalry.

The Flying Dutchmen enter tonight's game with a 13-4 overall record and sole possession of first place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association standings with a 6-0 league record. Calvin is 10-7 overall and second in the MIAA with a 5-1 league record. This is the final game in the first half of the MIAA schedule.
Hope leads the all-time series against Calvin by a 100-93 margin. The Flying Dutchmen won both meetings last season, including a 65-61 win at Calvin en route to their 38th MIAA regular-season championship.
The Flying Dutchmen are on a season-best, six-game win streak since losing both games at the Mount Union, Ohio M Club Classic on Dec. 29-30, 2016 in Alliance, Ohio, to Williams, Mass. and Wilkes, Pa. It is the only time Hope has dropped back-to-back games this season.
Senior Harrison Blackledge is second in the MIAA in scoring at 20.8 points per game. He has scored at least 12 points in every game this season. He is second in the MIAA and 29th in NCAA Division III in field-goal percentage (60.2).
Seniors Chad Carlson and Cody Stuive have played a team-leading eight games vs. Calvin. Stuive is averaging 6.0 points per game vs. the Knights, with a single-game best of 10 as a freshman. Carlson is contributing 5.6 points per game, with a high of 14 as a sophomore.
