Senior Elliott Digison of Midland, Michigan (Midland HS) scored twice to lead the Hope College ice hockey team to a 5-2 win against visiting Aquinas on Friday in American Collegiate Hockey Association play at Edge Ice Arena.

The Flying Dutchmen then lost the series finale vs. Aquinas 6-1 on Saturday at Edge Ice Arena in Byron Center to put their record at 17-8-1.

On Friday, Digison netted goals n in each of the first two periods as Hope jumped out to a 5-1 lead. 

On Saturday, freshman Jonah Oman of Dorr, Michigan (Hopkins) scored for Hope.

The Flying Dutchmen return to the ice on Friday, Feb. 3 at Edge Ice Arena to open a two-game series against Michigan-Flint.
