Senior forward Garrett Gormley scored four times to lead the Hope College ice hockey team to a road weekend sweep of Purdue University.
The Flying Dutchmen beat Purdue 11-2 on Friday and 7-5 on Saturday to start the 2017-18 season with a 2-0 record.
Gormley, pictured, recorded two goals and two assists on Friday and one goal and two assists on Saturday.
Junior defenseman Caleb Wortz added a team-high four assists and one goal over the two games.
The Flying Dutchmen return to action this weekend with a home-and-home series against the University of Michigan.
Hope's home opener is Friday, October 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Griff's IceHouse West in Holland.
