Garrett Gormley scored twice to help the Hope College ice hockey team skate to a 6-3 win against visiting Michigan State on Saturday and earn a split of their American Collegiate Hockey Association weekend series.

The Flying Dutchmen rebounded after losing at Michigan State 9-1 on Friday.

Goalie Austin Kane made 39 saves on Saturday for Hope (7-5-2 overall).

The Flying Dutchmen are idle on a Friday-Saturday, December 1-2 home-and-home series against Calvin College.
