Hope College tops the fall update for the 2017-18 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Commissioner's Cup race.
The Flying Dutch and Flying Dutchmen totaled 62 points with their fall finishes in eight sports and finished with 10 more than second-place Calvin College.
The Flying Dutch finished in second place or higher in all four women's fall sports. They claimed team titles in women's soccer and women's cross country and were runner-up in women's golf and volleyball.
On the men's side, the Flying Dutchmen recorded second-place finishes in football and men's golf.
The fall update is an unofficial look at MIAA Commissioner's Cup standings. The award is based on the cumulative performance of each member school in the league's 22 sports, 11 per gender; each school counts its top-eight finishes by gender.
