The Hope College men's basketball team will host Albion College Saturday at 3 p.m. at DeVos Fieldhouse for Senior Day.

 

Prior to tipoff, the Flying Dutchmen will honor three seniors: student-athletes Luke Dreyer of Zeeland, Michigan (Zeeland West HS), pictured at right, and Dante Hawkins of Holland, Michigan (Holland HS), pictured at right, and student assistant coach Christian Butler.

 

Hawkins, a three-year starter and a four-year varsity player, and Dreyer, a four-year varsity player, have helped the Flying Dutchmen come into Saturday with 80 overall wins, including 45 in MIAA play, and two MIAA regular-season championships.

 

Saturday is also Fan Appreciation Day at Hope College. Fans can purchase either popcorn, pop or water for $1 apiece from the concession stand. There will be a special tote bag giveaway as well while supplies last. A special thanks to Lorence & VanderZwart for their support of Hope Athletics.
