Hope College's Rocco Mularoni has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for games played through February 26.
The freshman from Hartland, Michigan (Detroit Catholic Central HS) scored the go-ahead goal and totaled six goals in a come-from-behind, 13-11 win at Benedictine, Illinois on Saturday. It was Hope's second win of the season.
Mularoni produced three goals during a decisive, game-ending five-goal run for the Flying Dutchmen during the final period. One of the goals was the game-winner.
Mularoni contributed one assist and two groundballs against Benedictine. He also caused two turnovers.
