Sophomore Cole DeVos of Ada, Michigan (Grand Rapids Christian HS) scored two goals as the Hope College ice hockey team skated to an 8-1 win at Michigan-Flint on Saturday in the regular-season finale.

The Flying Dutchmen will take a 19-8-1 record into the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference playoffs next week.

Hope will host Indiana Tech on Friday, Feb. 17 at 8:30 p.m.

The Flying Dutchmen swept the two-game series against Michigan-Flint.

Hope won 5-2 on Friday at Edge Ice Arena behind a goal and three assists from freshman Jonah Oman of Dorr, Michigan (Hopkins).
