Two Hope College home athletic contests have been moved up to today because of thunderstorms forecasted Thursday.

The Flying Dutch softball team will play at 3:30 p.m. today at Wolters Stadium, while the Flying Dutchmen lacrosse team will be in action at 7 p.m. at Van Andel Soccer Stadium.

In softball, Hope is hosting Franklin, Indiana for a nonleague doubleheader. Two seven-inning games are scheduled.

In lacrosse, Hope is facing Calvin for a match that will not count toward the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association standings. The two teams also meet on April 11 at Calvin.
