Junior Megan Klintworth of Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton) fired a final-round 80 to top the victorious Hope College women's golf team at the Trine Spring Classic on Saturday in Angola, Indiana.

The Flying Dutch won the seven-team tournament with a 36-hole total of 659 (331-328). They finished 17 strokes ahead of runner-up Saint Mary's.

Klintworth placed second among 43 golfers at 21-over par (85-80—165).

Senior Megan Wierenga of Byron Center, Michigan (South Christian) tied for third at 22-over (82-84-166).

Senior Britni Gielow of Norton Shores, Michigan (Mona Shores) placed one stroke behind Wierenga and tied for sixth (85-82).

Senior Elena Moore of South Lyon, Michigan (East) came in 13th place at 31-over (92-83).

Senior Dominique Molinaro of Burtchville, Michigan (Port Huron Northern) tied for 14th at 32-over (94-82).
