Three sixth-place finishes highlighted the Hope College women's track & field team's performance at the Grand Valley State University Al Owens Classic this weekend.

The Flying Dutch finished the two-day meet Saturday with an 11th-place score of 11 points.

It was a 14-team meet with NCAA Division I, II & III competitors, as well as NAIA teams.

Senior Erin Herrmann of Wheaton, Illinois (Wheaton-Warrenville South HS) took sixth in the 1,500 meters with a run of 4 minutes, 36.16 seconds.

Junior Rachel Satkiewicz of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan (Seaholm) finished sixth in the 400 meters by clocking a time of 58.55 seconds.

Junior Rachael Webb of Grand Rapids, Michigan (Grandville) came in sixth in the 800 meters at 2:16.04.

Sophomore Abby Couwenhoven of Mokena, Illinois (Lincoln Way East) was seventh in the 3,000 steeplechase at 12:01.57.

Hope's next meet is Friday-Saturday, April 28-29 at the Calvin Invitational.
