The Hope College men's lacrosse team hosts Alma College in the semifinals of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament on Thursday at Van Andel Soccer Stadium. 

The Flying Dutchmen (10-5 overall) are seeded second and hosting their first MIAA Tournament. This is their third postseason appearance.

Alma (11-5) is seeded third.

The winner advances to Saturday's championship match against either top-seeded Albion or fourth-seeded Olivet to play for the MIAA's automatic berth in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Hope defeated Alma 15-9 on April 5 in the MIAA opener.
