Four members of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association champion Hope College men's basketball team made the 2016-17 MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Harrison Blackledge, senior from Canton, Ohio/Hoover

Keith Brushwyler, senior from St. Joseph/Lakeshore

Chad Carlson, senior from Rockford/Rockford          

Cody Stuive, senior from Hudsonville/Hudsonville

The group is among a league-high 202 Hope College student-athletes to earn spots on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll by maintaining a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the year.

Blackledge and Carlson are among 16 Hope College student athletes who were on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll all four years in their careers.

The academic awards program is administered by the faculty representatives of the MIAA member colleges.
