Megan Klintworth claimed medalist honors at the first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree of the women's golf season on Thursday while leading the Flying Dutch to a second-place finish.
The senior from Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS) earned low-round honors with a 4-over-par 76 at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall in the nine-team field of 50 golfers.
Klintworth recorded two birdies and 10 pars. She finished one stroke ahead of runner-up Summer Stilson of Saint Mary's and two strokes ahead of third-place Ashley Folleth of Olivet.

Hope shot a team score of 333 — trailing first-place Saint Mary's by five strokes. The Flying Dutch finished one stroke up on third-place Olivet. Following Olivet were Alma (347), Trine (362), Calvin (364), Albion (370), Adrian (386), and Kalamazoo (438).
Freshman Abby Meder of Lansing, Michigan (Catholic Central) came in eighth place with an 83.
Freshman Jordyn Rioux of Farmington, Michigan (Livonia Ladywood) took ninth with an 84.
Freshman Carley Laird of Traverse City, Michigan (Central) rounded out Hope's scoring with a 20th-place 90.
