The 13th-ranked Hope College women's cross country team made the most of a hot Saturday morning, winning the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree for the second time in three seasons.
The Flying Dutch posted four of the fastest seven times en route to a first-place score of 34 points.
Hope, the two-time reigning MIAA champion, finished 14 points ahead of second-place Calvin and 58 ahead of third-place Trine. The jamboree results count one-thirds toward the overall standings.
Junior Emily Hamilton of Naperville, Illinois (Naperville North HS) led the Flying Dutch at West Ottawa Golf Club with a second-place run of 22 minutes, 27.0 seconds.

Sophomore Chelsea Miskelley of Holland, Michigan (Black River) took fourth place in 22:53.2.
Senior Rachael Webb of Grandville, Michigan (Grandville) came in fifth at 22:55.1.
Senior Alexis Guttilla of St. Charles, Illinois (Westminster Christian) finished seventh in 23:07.4.
Hope rounded out its scoring with a 16th-place effort of 23:33.7 from senior Alissa Frazee of Watervliet, Michigan (Home School).
The Flying Dutch put two more runners in the Top 10.
Junior Avery Lowe of North Muskegon, Michigan (North Muskegon) placed 17th at 23:35.5.
Sophomore Sydney del Valle of Holland, Michigan (Black River) was 19th at 23:41.8.
