The Hope College women's golf team placed runner-up at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree on Saturday at Lenawee Country Club in Adrian.
The Flying Dutch shot a 346 to finish 22 strokes behind first-place Saint Mary's.
Saint Mary's took back the MIAA lead from Hope after 72 holes. The Flying Dutch trail by 13 strokes heading into the Friday and Saturday, October 6-7 MIAA Championship at Bedford Valley Country Club in Battle Creek.
Two Hope golfers tied for fifth place with 81s on Saturday: senior Megan Klintworth of Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS) and freshman Jordyn Rioux of Farmington, Michigan (Livonia Ladywood).
Freshman Abby Meder of Lansing, Michigan (Catholic Central) chipped in an 86 and tied for 10th place.
Junior Ariana Stewart of Kalamazoo, Michigan (Comstock) had a 98 for the Flying Dutch.
