Two-goal games from Austen Peterson and Garrett Gormley helped the Hope College American Collegiate Hockey Association team skate to two victories against Davenport University over the weekend.

The Flying Dutchmen won their first matches of 2018 to raise the record to 13-5-2 overall.

Peterson scored twice during an 8-2 win on Friday home ice at Griff's IceHouse West.

Gormley matched the feat Saturday during a 5-3 victory in Grand Rapids.

Hope hosts Notre Dame for a two-game series this weekend with 7:30 p.m. games Friday and Saturday.
