The Hope College men's basketball team is bidding for its 18th appearance in a MIAA Tournament championship game and an opportunity to play for the MIAA's automatic berth to the NCAA Division III on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Olivet College.
Tipoff is 5 p.m. on Friday at Olivet College.
The Flying Dutchmen are 17-9 all-time in MIAA Tournament semifinal games, with wins in the 11 of the past 12 semifinals.

SEASON SERIES
Hope and Adrian split their meetings this season — each winning on their home courts. The Flying Dutchmen won 95-77 at DeVos Fieldhouse on February 7 behind 29 points from Jason Beckman and 26 from Dante Hawkins. The Bulldogs won 74-63 at Adrian on January 13 despite 22 points from Dante Hawkins and 19 from Jason Beckman.
MIAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Hope is 44-15 all-time in MIAA Tournament history, including a 6-2 record against Adrian. The two teams last met in the postseason in 2012 — where the Flying Dutchmen won a 65-62 championship game in overtime at DeVos Fieldhouse. Nate Snuggerud's 20 points and 10 rebounds led Hope. Adrian beat the Flying Dutchmen in the 2004 semifinals at the Holland Civic Center and the 2001 semifinals at Calvin College.
