Men's Lacrosse Ties for Second In MIAA Preseason Coaches Poll

The Hope College men's lacrosse team tied for second in the 2018 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Preseason Coaches Poll.

The Flying Dutchmen received one first-place vote and totaled 16 points. They shared second place with Alma College.

Hope is coming off a 10-6 season in 2017 in which the Flying Dutchmen tied for second place in the regular-season standings and qualified for the league tournament.

The Flying Dutchmen are led by Michael Schanhals, who has been their head coach since 2005, including the past five varsity seasons.

Hope opens the season on February 17 at Milwaukee School of Engineering.
