The Hope College men's tennis team split a pair of nonleague matches on Saturday in Greencastle, Indiana — defeating Taylor, Indiana 7-2 and losing to host DePauw 8-1.

Junior Michael Kiley of Muskegon, Michigan (Mona Shores HS) earned two singles points for the Flying Dutchmen.

Kiley, pictured, defeated Taylor's Stephen All 6-1, 6-3 at No. 3 singles and DePauw's Alex Bertolini 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (3) at No. 4 singles.

Sophomore Danny Kroeze of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian) and junior Justin Folkert of Hamilton, Michigan (Hamilton) also won three-set matches against Taylor.

Kroeze rallied for a 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles against Christen Jacquottet.

Folkert beat Andre Danellie 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 at No. 5 singles.
