Evan Fall and Garrett Gormley both scored in a 26-second span to give the Hope College Ice hockey team to a 7-5 victory against Central Michigan in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division 3 national semifinal on Friday in Columbus, Ohio.
The Flying Dutchmen (24-8-2 overall) advanced to Saturday's 8 p.m. national championship game against Oakland University.
It is Hope's fifth appearance in an ACHA national final. The Flying Dutchmen finished national runner-up in 2014, 2011, 2010 and 2003.

Against Central Michigan, Hope propelled itself to victory with a four-goal third period.
The score was tied at 3-3 after two periods. The Flying Dutchmen led 3-0 after the first period before CMU rallied in the second period to pull even.
Gormley scored six seconds into the third period off an assist from Riley Draper, but Central Michigan struck twice over the next 2 ½ minutes for a 5-4 lead.
Mones started Hope's comeback on a power-play goal with 6:25 remaining. Fall and Skylar Miller were credited with assists.
With 12:54 remaining, Fall put the Flying Dutchmen ahead 6-5. Cole Stenstrom and Peter Stewart had assists.
Gormley followed up 26 seconds later. Caleb Wortz had the assist.
Goalie Austin Kane made 38 saves for Hope.
