Carly Pieri scored six times to lead the Hope College women's lacrosse team in a 19-15 loss to Frostburg State on Monday in Hilton Head, S.C.

The freshman from Alto, Michigan (Caledonia HS) surpassed her season-high of five goals at Aquinas on March 10.

Pieri's goals all came after halftime, when the Flying Dutch trailed 8-5.

Freshman Megan Ready of Spring Lake, Michigan (Spring Lake) scored twice for Hope (3-2).

Freshman Paige Wilmer of Columbus, Ohio (Upper Arlington) added one goal and one assist against Frostburg State (3-4-1).
