Senior Megan Klintworth of Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS) shot an 82 to lead the Hope College women's golf team during a dual match at Huntingdon on Wednesday in Montgomery, Alabama.

The Flying Dutch lost 314-343 in their first competition of the spring.

Freshman Jordyn Rioux of Farmington, Michigan (Livonia Ladywood) chipped in an 84 for Hope.

The Flying Dutch also received scoring rounds of 88 from freshman Carley Laird of Traverse City, Michigan (Central) and 89 from freshman Abigail Meder of Lansing, Michigan (Catholic Central).

Junior Ariana Stewart of Kalamazoo, Michigan (Comstock) and freshman Vanessa Drust of Constantine, Michigan (Constantine) each shot 92s.
