Junior Emily Hamilton of Naperville, Illinois (North HS) has been selected the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the week for meets March 12-17.

At Saturday's Rhodes Invitational in Memphis, Tennessee, Hamilton clocked a second-place time of 36 minutes, 48.10 seconds for her place among 20 runners in a field that included NCAA Division I, II and III competitors.

It was a nonscoring meet.
