Hope College golfer Megan Klintworth carded the lowest round amid challenging playing conditions during a four-team tournament on Friday in West Chicago, Illinois.

The senior from Jackson, Michigan (Hanover-Horton HS) shot a 5-over-par 77 despite rain and cold at the Prairie Landing Golf Course. She finished four strokes better than the field.

Hope and Calvin College competed together against Wheaton (Illinois) and host North Central. The College Conference of Illinois-Wisconsin schools posted a 703-724 victory.

Freshman Jordyn Rioux of Farmington, Michigan (Livonia Ladywood) fired an 83 for the Flying Dutch.

Freshman Abby Meder of Lansing, Michigan (Catholic Central) added an 89 for Hope.

Junior Ariana Stewart of Kalamazoo, Michigan (Comstock) had a 90.
