Hope College's Joshua Izenbart and Alison Rich won the decathlon and heptathlon, respectively, at the Hillsdale College Gina Relays on Friday.

Izenbart, a sophomore from Glenwood, Illinois (Homewood-Flossmoor HS), recorded a winning, 10-event score of 6,207 points.

Rich, a senior from Haslett, Michigan (Haslett), posted a winning, eight-event total of 4,487 points.

Sophomore Mitchel Achien'g of Nairobi, Kenya (Kisumu) recorded a fourth-place effort in the heptathlon of 3,953 points.

In the 400 meters, senior Brandon Wolliston of Remus, Michigan (Chippewa Hills) placed runner-up with a time of 49.13 seconds.

Senior Matt Ruff of Wayne, Illinois (Wheaton Academy) was seventh in the 400 at 50.39 seconds.

In the 800 meters, sophomore Chelsea Miskelley of Holland, Michigan (Black River) clocked a sixth-place time of 2:17.06.

In the 400-meter hurdles, junior Tucker Gibbons of Fowlerville, Michigan (Fowlerville) finished seventh with a time of 57.40 seconds.
