Hope College's Max Kuiper has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for games played April 2-8.

The sophomore from Grand Rapids, Michigan (Forest Hills Central HS) is receiving the award for the second time this season and the second time in his career.

Last week, Kuiper totaled six goals and two assists for the Flying Dutchmen during MIAA victories against Alma and Trine.

The efforts helped Hope push its win streak to nine matches — matching a program-best.

Kuiper totaled three goals and one assist against both the Scots and Thunder.

All three of Kuiper's goals against Alma came during the second half.
