Hope College's Natalie Rahrig has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

The senior from Fort Wayne, Indiana (Bishop Luers HS) is the fourth different Flying Dutch player to earn the honor this season.

Rahrig is recognized after helping the Dutch complete a sweep of MIAA regular-season and tournament championships.

In Friday's 5-0 win against visiting Calvin in the final at VandePoel-Heeringa Stadium Courts, Rahrig ended the match with 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles. She also won 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.

In Thursday's 5-0 semifinal win against visiting Trine at DeWitt Tennis Center, Rahrig was part of an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles and led 6-3, 1-0 at No. 4 singles when the match ended.
