The Hope College women's indoor track and field team finished in 8th place, out of 15 teams, behind three solid jumping performances by Addyson Gerig at Grand Valley State University's Mike Lints Open.

The junior from Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa), pictured, finished in the top eight in three events: sixth place in triple jump (9.75- meters); seventh place in the high jump (1.53 meters), and, seventh place in the long jump (4.95 meters).

Hope finished with 16 points.

The Flying Dutch's next meet is Friday, January 25 at the Aquinas Quad in Grand Rapids.
