Men's Tennis Tops Aquinas With Victories In A Trio Of Three-Set Matches

The Hope College men's tennis team won a trio of three-set matches en route to a 6-3, non-league victory at Aquinas College on Friday.

The Flying Dutchmen improved their record to 1-1.

At No. 2 singles, senior Tim Roe of Bakersfield, California (Frontier HS) defeated Killian Salgado-Pasante, 1-6, 6-4, 6-3.

At No. 3 singles, senior Michael Kiley of Muskegon, Michigan (Mona Shores) topped Austin Luker, 7-6, 6-7, 10-8.

At No. 6 singles, senior Christian Rhoades of Holland, Michigan (Holland Christian), pictured, beat Tien-Anh Tran, 5-7, 6-1, 6-3.

Hope's next match is Friday, February 22 at Western Michigan University.
