Newcomer Paul Washington went undefeated in singles play to lead the Hope College men's tennis team at its season-opening Fall Invitational last weekend.

The freshman from Dearborn, Michigan (Dearborn HS) won both of his singles matches in the B Flight.

The Flying Dutchmen finished with an 11-11 singles record.

Senior Danny Kroeze of Holland, Michigan and freshman Jacob Burkett of Clarkston, Michigan (Clarkston) topped Hope with a 2-1 doubles record.
